This is what we do it for – the writing life is ultimately the pursuit of a creativity that won’t leave us alone. When who we are and our values come together; when the stories we live and the stories (including poems and nonfiction) are congruent, then we find our flow and rhythm; we know what to do with our precious lives.
In 2022 we are putting some of the flow and rhythm into an exciting new venture: the magazine, Kith Review will be open for submissions in the Spring and looking for work from artists and artisans across many genres.
But first we need readers to support the venture either with advance subscriptions or pledges, in return for subscriptions plus other rewards.
The books here on Kith are a sample of my own work or from Cinnamon Press’s Down Deep Books imprint, including my major book on writing and the writing life, Writing Down Deep, which grew out of three years of blogging and developing writing courses to become a labour of love on the writing life and its alchemy.
You’ll also find details of my fiction and poetry writing – the Casilda trilogy, novels that changed me as I’ve wrote them; the subsequent novel Saoirse’s Crossing; a couple of the poetry titles that have endured in ways that delight me, and two novels in The Ground Trilogy that combine future dystopian and utopian tropes with Arthurian mythology (the third currently being written).
